So I have virtually nothing to report today, the only noteworthy birds seen were noted as I sheltered from the rain under the poly tunnels at the Greenhouse Grounds, those being the KESTREL family and a flyover LESSER BLACK BACKED GULL, more gloomy weather forecast for tomorrow, but it does at least look dry :-)
A BULLFINCH pair were in my garden this afternoon, cramming weed seeds into their crops at a rate which suggested they have young about - i've yet to find them though!
I'm running out of photo's for the blog now, I have a few images from Wales still left, so they will have to do!
These Reed Warblers were seen at the RSPB Ynys- hir reserve, only a passage bird of Spring and Autumn on my patch.

These two Robin images were taken at the same reserve as the Reed Warblers, they were tame enough to visit one of the picnic tables at we ate lunch, close enough for me to use the macro lens!

The feeders outside the cottage we stayed at attracted a family of Great Spotted Woodpeckers, this immature bird being very co-operative :-)
