There wasn't any pittswood patch visit today. I had a day off and visited Dungeness RSPB reserve :-) .

Back to normal tomorrow !

Great White Egret, Cattle Egret, and Purple Heron, the latter having bred at Dungeness for a first record Warren.

How did you get on at Dungeness?

We recorded 76 species, but couldn't find the Purple Herons, or the GW Egret, we did see the Cattle Egret though. A short sea watch produced around 40 Black Terns and a Kittiwake of note :-)

Surely you meant 40 kittiwakes and a black tern...there again it is a different world down there!!!
