No visit was made to my patch today, apart from the walk in to work and back, when I added CANADA GOOSE to the months list.

The reason no visit was made is that I had to set up a new computer for the wife, with all that that entails, what seems like a simple task always takes ages. passwords for this and that, downloads, more passwords, by the time I had finshed the afternoon had gone.

I did also add COMMON BUZZARD to the months list, seen from the bedroom window as I looked out for some inspiration.

Back tomorrow with a report on the first full walk round of my patch for the month.

Oh, before I go, I just want to say thanks to all of you who take the time to leave comments on my blog, I read them all, but cant always reply, but I visit all the bloggers who make a comment, thank you all for making my blog more interesting to read.

Sigh of relief breathed there, Warren ;-) I expected you getting a dozen or so species for your list, today.

All the best for the weekend.

Hi Warren,
yeh I know what you mean with computer. You always believe it is gonna take two minutes and it takes hours!!!
I hope you will catch up with your patch tomorrow. For us it is gonna be rather cold (-2°C forecaste) and windy... Not a time to go birding apparently. We will see!

Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to look in on Birds2blog daily it seems, it is much appreciated as I often look at birding blogs which get little if any comments......must be like talking to yourself!

Kind Regards Warren.

Thanks very much Warren for the IDs of the juvenile Yellow Wagtail and the Dunlins, it is much appreciated. I am kicking myself about the Wagtail as I remember thinking that it looked different to the Grey which I had on my previous post and then I thought no more about it...silly me, I should have done better!

I have acknowledged your help on the post and put a link on your name and will eventually reply to the comment also. Thanks again Warren,it is a privilege to know someone so knowledgeable and with such a deep love of birds as you.
:)
