Nothing to report today, two SPARROWHAWKS fought over the best position to ambush the birds at my garden feeders, I 'll have to suspend feeding for a while !

I did try and visit the lake area this afternoon, but was driven back by monsoon like rain :-(

With better weather forecast for tomorrow, I should be out again :-)

Do those hot, sunny days seem anymore appealing yet Warren.
We cancelled our WEBS count today because of the weather and will do it tomorrow now.

Derek,
A hot humid day is as bad as a monsoon day, they both equal no birds :-) At least the rain and wind are more bareable.

The weather that came across Sheppey this afternoon would most certainly not have been bearable to be out in, glad I was watching it from inside the conservatory, where I nodded off and dreamt about long, hot July days with Swallows and Reed Warblers and all things nice.

We didn't have any rain, but it was cold, windy and gloomy outside.

Hi Warren, tomorrow will be a better day... Went back to see the waxwing, I saw 36 of them today in the same tree! That was totally awesome mate! Very cool indeed... Too many pictures to post-treat to be able to make a post yet!

Your shortest post to date I think, but understandably of course.

Tomorrows weather looks set to be 'great' with wall to wall sunshine....he says!

My Kind Regards Warren.
